Definition of Service

Individualized testing is a state-approved assessment process designed to evaluate your child’s unique learning abilities, strengths, and areas for improvement. I use the Brigance Comprehensive Inventory of Basic Skills or the Denver Developmental Screening Test to gather a holistic understanding of your student’s educational progress.

Pricing

  • $400/session: Includes up to 3 hours (approximately 2 or so hours with your student and about an hour for feedback with parents).
  • Additional children: $250 each per session (when assessed during the same appointment).

Details of Service

During the session, I will:

  1. Observe your student: This involves having your child perform a variety of age-appropriate academic and/or developmental tasks to assess skills in areas like speaking, reading, writing, math, and overall developmental progress.
  2. Evaluate their approach to learning: I’ll look at how they problem-solve, manage tasks, and engage with different materials to identify areas where they thrive or may need extra support.
  3. Provide parent feedback: After the assessment, we’ll discuss my findings, including your child’s strengths, any areas of concern, and suggested next steps for their education.
