I think of her as the ‘autism whisperer.’ She was instrumental in finding the correct diagnosis for my daughter and then worked together with me to create a PDP that was realistic, but optimized my daughter’s capabilities. She saw my daughter’s potential and formulated a plan to help her reach it. When the therapists put a ceiling on Susie’s abilities; Patty helped her exceed it.
